No bingo license or raffles license, pursuant to the statutes
of the State of New Jersey set forth and more specifically designated
in the preamble hereof, shall be hereafter issued to any organization or association
of veterans of any war in which the United States was engaged, any
church or religious, educational or fraternal organization, civic
or service club, officially recognized volunteer fire company or officially
recognized volunteer first aid or rescue squad, to hold and operate
games of chance of and restricted to bingo and/or raffles, unless
the applicant therefor shall be resident within the corporate limits
of the Borough of Bellmawr or shall have its principal office and/or
place of business within such corporate limits.

Hereafter it shall be lawful for any organization or association which is duly authorized by the Raffles Licensing Law or the Bingo Licensing Law and by §
234-1 of this chapter, referring to residency requirements for licensing, to conduct raffles or bingo games on the first day of the week, commonly known and designated as "Sunday." In accordance with the aforesaid statutes and section, proper provisions must be made to obtain such license for each applicant and event.
