the office of the Town Clerk. This Map, together with all explanatory

a part of this chapter.
A. Zoning boundaries. Where uncertainty exists as to the boundaries
of zoning districts as shown on the Zoning Map, the following rules
shall apply:
(1)
Boundaries indicated as abutting street lines, highways or alleys
shall be construed as extending to the center line of such streets,
highways or alleys;
(2)
Boundaries indicated as approximately following plotted lot
lines shall be construed as following such lot lines;
(3)
Boundaries indicated as following shorelines shall be construed
to follow such shorelines and, in the event of change in the shoreline,
shall be construed as moving with the actual shoreline; boundaries
indicated as approximately following center lines of streams, rivers
or other bodies of water shall be construed to follow such center
lines (moving of streams is not permitted other than through natural
meandering);
(4)
Boundaries indicated as parallel to, or extensions of, features indicated in Subsection
A(1) through
(3) above should be so construed. Distances not specifically indicated on the Zoning Map shall be determined by the scale of the Map;
(5)
In case of uncertainty, the Zoning Commission shall determine
the location of the boundary;
(6)
Where a lot, at the time of passage of this chapter or any amendments
thereto, falls into two or more zoning districts, the zoning district
and the regulation thereof that is most restrictive or that imposes
the higher standard shall govern.
