This chapter is hereby amended by the adoption of the revised
emergency operations plan.
All other provisions remain in effect unless altered or amended
by this chapter.
There is hereby adopted the "Dormont Emergency Management Organization
and Emergency Operations Plan."
This Organization is created for the purpose of preventing,
minimizing and alleviating injury or damage resulting from disasters
caused by natural, man-made or other hostile actions.

A. The Council of the Borough of Dormont shall, from time to time, appoint
a person who is an employee of the Borough and who has special expertise
and knowledge of emergency management operations to the position of
Emergency Management Coordinator.
B. The Emergency Management Coordinator shall appoint members to the
Emergency Management Organization. The members, however, shall include:
(3) The Dormont Volunteer Fire Department Officers.
(4) The Dormont Police Chief.
(5) The Dormont Police Department Supervisors.
(6) The Director of the Medical Rescue Team South.
Copies of the Dormont Emergency Management Plan shall be available
at all times at the following locations:
A. Borough Manager's office.
B. Dormont Volunteer Fire Department.
E. Municipal Emergency Operations Center.
The Borough of Dormont does hereby approve, adopt and place
into immediate effect the emergency operations plan. This plan shall
be reviewed every two years to make certain that it conforms with
the requirements of the Allegheny County Emergency Operations Guidelines.
