Definition. As used in this Article, "pavement" shall mean: A covering of the surface of sidewalks, residential driveways, parking lots and loading areas by brick or masonry, or by a combination of aggregates and asphalt cement or aggregates, Portland cement and water or permeable surface road covering (pavement) authorized by regulations issued by the Building Commissioner.
B. 
The following minimum design criteria shall apply to all pavement in the :
Aggregate Base plus Asphaltic Surface
Asphaltic Concrete plus Asphaltic Concrete Surface
Portland Cement Concrete
Interlocking Concrete Masonry Paving Units
Residential
5 inch base and
4 inch base
4 inches

Driveways
2 inch surface
2 inch surface
C. 
Interlocking concrete paving units shall meet or exceed the minimum values set forth in the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Specifications C936, Standard Specifications for Solid Interlocking Concrete Paving Units.

Manufactured utility sheds will require zoning approval upon presentation of a plot plan and applicant's certification of structure erection in accordance with manufacturer's plans.
B. 
Inspections and charges shall be in accordance with Municipal Code Section 500.060.
