The Township reserves the right to compel discontinuance of the use
of any sewer or to compel the pretreatment of wastes where required
to prevent discharge to the sewer system deemed harmful in any respect.
The Township reserves the right to require all buildings or establishments
having large variations in the rate of waste discharge to install
facilities or to use methods for equalizing the rate of discharge
more uniformly over the entire 24 hours of a day.
The Township's representative shall have access at reasonable
hours to all establishments connected to the sewer system and to any
meters used for establishing or determining water consumption, water
excluded from the sewer system, or sewage and/or wastewaters discharged
to the sewer system.
The Peters Township Sanitary Authority and/or the Peters Creek Sanitary Authority, as the agent of the Township, shall be charged with the duty of billing and collecting all charges, making all notices and keeping all records necessary to carry out the provisions of this Article IV.[1]
