Section 115.330 Appointment — Term of Office — Removal From Office.

The City Treasurer, who shall be appointed in the manner prescribed in Section 110.080, shall hold office during the pleasure of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.

Section 115.340 City Treasurer — Qualifications. [1]

The City Treasurer shall be a resident of the City and a qualified voter under the laws and Constitution of the State, this Code and other ordinances of the City. No person shall be appointed City Treasurer who shall at the time be in arrears for any unpaid City taxes or forfeiture or defalcation in office.
