[Ord. No. 580 §§1 — 5, 2-13-2003; Ord. No. 768 §1, 8-25-2005; Ord. No. 959 Exh. B, 10-11-2007; Ord. No. 1400 §37, 12-18-2014]
A.
Findings.
1.
The City of Cottleville hereby finds and determines that the fees heretofore imposed in connection with building permits and certain zoning, rezoning and permit applications and requests for plan and plat reviews and site inspections for projects and construction within the City of Cottleville are not sufficient to maintain funding of the services, programs and activities related to review and issuance of such applications, permits, requests for review and site inspections, including, but not limited to, the activities of the Director of Public Works and the Planning and Zoning Commission. It is therefore necessary to increase such fees to assure that the City recovers a sufficient amount to pay for the services, programs and activities provided by the Director of Public Works, City staff, and the Planning and Zoning Commission.
2.
The Director of Public Works has prepared a statement of the costs necessary to maintain the funding of such services, programs and activities which indicates the service, program or activity supported by the fees and has conducted a review of the BOCA Code and other associated costs to determine the appropriate range of fees for services provided by the City.
B.
