It is the desire of said Board of Supervisors of Fallowfield Township, in the County of Washington, in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and said Board of Supervisors hereby signifies its intention to organize a Municipal Authority in said county and commonwealth, under the Municipality Authorities Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.[1]

In pursuance of said desire and intention and in conformity with the terms and provisions of said Municipality Authorities Act[2] and its amendments, the proposed Articles of Incorporation are hereby set forth in full as follows:
ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION
OF
FALLOWFIELD TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY
To the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
In compliance with the requirements of the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, approved the second day of May 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, and pursuant to an ordinance adopted by the proper authorities of Fallowfield Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, that a Municipal Authority be established, under the provisions of the aforementioned law, Fallowfield Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, desiring that a Municipal Authority be established and that a Certificate of Incorporation be issued to said Authority, does hereby certify:
(a)
The name of the Authority shall be: Fallowfield Township Municipal Authority.
(b)
The Authority is formed under the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.
(c)
No other Authority has been organized under the provisions of this Act, or the Act of June 28, 1935, P.L. 463, and is in existence within said Township except as follows: None.
(d)
The name of the incorporating municipality is: Fallowfield Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
The names and addresses of the Board of Supervisors of Fallowfield Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, are as follows:[3]
(e)
The names and addresses and terms of the office of the first members of the Board of said Authority are as follows:
All of whom reside in and are citizens of Fallowfield Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
(f)
The project to be undertaken by the said Authority is hereby specified to be any and all such projects as are authorized under the terms and provisions of the Municipality Authorities Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended.

Editor's Note: Said names and addresses, along with the names, addresses and terms of office of the first members of the Board of the Authority, are on file with the Articles of Incorporation in the Township offices.
The proposed Articles of Incorporation of said Authority shall be executed by and on behalf of the Board of Supervisors of Fallowfield Township by the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, the seal of said Township shall be thereto affixed and attested by the Secretary. The Solicitor is authorized and directed to cause to be published the Notice of Intention to file the Articles of Incorporation as required by the aforementioned Act, and when said Articles of Incorporation are properly executed by the incorporation municipality the same shall be filed with the Secretary of the Commonwealth.

The term of existence of the Fallowfield Township Municipal Authority shall be for an additional 40 years expiring the 29th day of July 2036.

The governing body of the Fallowfield Township Municipal Authority shall consist of a Board made up of seven permanent members, appointed by the governing body, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Municipal Authorities Act.[1]
