A.
In
order to reduce litter and promote a cleaner City, the Department
of Public Works is hereby directed to mow and remove weeds, trash
and debris within and from any area designated as a public right-of-way,
including draining ditches and tubes, that is not being properly maintained
within City limits.
B.
This Section does not alter or amend a property owner's duties and obligations pursuant to Sections 505.060 and 215.150 of the Municipal Code of the City of Pleasant Valley, Missouri. Furthermore, those property owners who have mowed and removed weeds, trash and debris within and from the public rights-of-way adjacent to their properties may continue such mowing and removal.
