Within any C District, no building, structure, lot or land shall
be used for other than one or more of the following uses:
A. Gas station and automotive sales.
B. Retail store, office, office building, restaurant, tavern.
C. Telephone exchange building.
D. Bank, savings and loan association.
E. Personal service store or studio, or shop for custom work.
F. Business or vocational school.
G. Automobile sales agency with accessory service facilities.
H. Dry-cleaning plant, laundry.
I. Wholesale establishment, distribution station.
J. Printing plant, newspaper plant.
K. Theater or motion-picture theater, other than an outdoor drive-in
theater.
L. Municipal or proprietary parking area open to the general public,
with or without the payment of rent or charges.
Within any C District, the following accessory uses shall be
permitted:
A. Customary accessory uses and structures.
B. Private garage, private or accessory off-street parking area, pursuant to the provisions of Article
XIX.
C. Signs, pursuant to Article
XX.
Within any C District, no building or structure shall be erected
nor any lot or land area utilized unless in conformity with the following
schedule, which is hereby declared to be a part of this chapter:

Within any C District, the following conditional uses shall
be permitted subject to approval by the Belvidere Planning Board:
A. General medical and surgical hospital.
E. Museum, art gallery, community center building.
G. Public utility building or structure.
H. Single- or two-family dwelling.
I. Multiple dwelling conforming to the R-M District requirements and Article
XVI.
