[HISTORY: Adopted by the Town Meeting of the Town of Sharon
as Art. 10, § 27, of the Town Bylaws. Amendments noted where
applicable.]
It shall be unlawful for any person to distribute advertising
material at any residence within the Town of Sharon, other than at
the residence of a person soliciting the same, by placing such material
at the home or on the property of the person owning or occupying the
home, unless the person distributing such advertising material has
obtained the written consent of the person occupying the home.
The foregoing provision shall not apply to the distribution
of advertising material through the United States mail, or to the
distribution of advertising material by or for any nonprofit charitable
organization.
