A. The
Board of Aldermen does hereby create the position of Deputy City Clerk.
The position of Deputy City Clerk shall be subject to the following:
1. Position and term. The Deputy City Clerk position
shall be filled upon the recommendation of the City Administrator
and approval by a majority of the full Board of Aldermen. The Deputy
City Clerk may also hold the Administrative Assistant position and
shall report directly to and be supervised by the City Administrator/City
Clerk. The Deputy City Clerk is not a City Official subject to the
laws of the City or the State of Missouri pertaining to elected or
appointed officials.
2. Duties, powers, privileges. The Deputy City Clerk
shall serve as the deputy custodian of records and shall perform the
duties of the Administrative Assistant, any duties of the City Clerk
delegated to him/her and any other duties assigned to him/her by the
City Administrator and/or Mayor.
