Through truck routes. The following streets within the City
limits of Bonne Terre are designated as truck routes for trucks or
commercial vehicles licensed for over fifteen thousand (15,000) pounds
gross vehicle weight while traveling through the City limits of Bonne
Terre to a destination not within the City limits.
All of U.S. Highway 67 both northbound and southbound lanes
and entrance and exit ramps.

North Division Street, running from School Street to the north
City limits
Berry Road
Raider Road

Local truck routes. The following streets within the City
limits of Bonne Terre are designated as local truck routes for trucks
or commercial vehicles licensed for over fifteen thousand (15,000)
pounds gross vehicle weight and used for local delivery within the
City limits of Bonne Terre only. These streets may be accessed from
the through truck routes listed in Section 1:
North Norwine Street
West DeSoto Road
Branch Street
Oak Street between Church Street and Grove Avenue
South Allen Street between NE Main and Oak Street
NE Main between Young Street and East School Street
Young Street between State Highway 47 and NE Main Street
Savanna Drive
Hazel Street between Savanna Drive and State Highway 47
Cherry Street between Raider Road and Poplar Street
Northwood Drive
Pointview Drive
Hillcrest Drive
Old Orchard Road
Stormy Lane between Old Orchard Road and State Route K
Lake Drive
Church Street
Young Street

Restricted speed limits for commercial motor vehicles at or above
fifteen thousand (15,000) pounds gross vehicle weight. All
commercial motor vehicles rated at fifteen thousand (15,000) pounds
gross vehicle weight or above shall be restricted to a maximum speed
limit of fifteen (15) miles per hour. This speed limit shall cover
all public roadways within the City limits of Bonne Terre except all
lanes of travel of both northbound and southbound on U.S. Highway
67.

Exemptions. The following vehicles are exempt from this
speed limit as follows:
(1)
All school-owned buses used for transport of students, military vehicles
on assignment, emergency vehicles (e.g., fire suppression, police,
emergency medical services, Homeland Security and civil defense).
All vehicles listed as excluded shall be limited to the normal speed
limit posted for the area in which they travel. Emergency vehicles
are excluded from the posted speed limit only when responding to a
bona fide emergency call.

Special use permits. A special use permit may be obtained
from the City of Bonne Terre which would allow vehicles as described
in Sections 1 through 3 to travel through the City limits of Bonne
Terre using a described truck and/or local truck route. This permit
would be for businesses that are located outside of the City limits
of Bonne Terre that have no other access by roadway other than by
passing though the City limits of Bonne Terre.
