Other definitions. The following words and phrases, which are not defined by Article 1 of the Vehicle and Traffic Law, shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section, for the purpose of this Part
1:
CUL-DE-SAC
The vehicular turnaround area of a dead-end street.

CURBLINE
The prolongation of the lateral line of a curb or, in the
absence of a curb, the lateral boundary line of the roadway.
DISPLAY
An arrangement of merchandise; objects designed to please
the eye or attract a buyer; to show or exhibit; make visible.

HOLIDAYS
New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, Lincoln's Birthday,
Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Columbus Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas
Day.
OFFICIAL TIME STANDARD
Whenever certain hours are named herein or on a traffic control
device, sign or parking meter, they shall mean the time standard which
is in current use in this state.
REGULARLY
At specific times or intervals; according to plan.

Days upon which children attend school in the district concerned.
