The purposes of the General Store are as follows:
A.
To hold, manage and supervise all property and funds developed, acquired,
used and produced by or with respect to the Bkedé o Mshiké
General Store's operation;
B.
To develop, operate and oversee the operation of the General Store;
C.
To insulate the Tribe's assets, other than the property and
funds developed, acquired, used or produced by or with respect to
the General Store, from obligations, liabilities and claims of the
General Store and its business and operations;
D.
To assist the Tribe with the development of economic development
opportunities on its Reservation;
E.
To provide members of the Tribe with opportunities for employment
and access to resources which will assist tribal members to develop
business management and entrepreneurship skills;
F.
To provide revenue to the Tribe to fund its governmental operations
and programs to improve the health, safety and welfare of its members.
