The Town shall continue, after the effective date of this amended
and restated Charter, as a body politic and corporate with perpetual
succession within its territorial limits.
The powers, rights and obligations of the Town contained in
the Charter as in effect immediately prior to the effective date of
this amended and restated Charter, and attached as Appendix A, shall
remain in effect.
The legislative body of the Town shall be a combination of the
Town Meeting and the Board of Selectmen. The legislative powers of
the Town Meeting are limited to those matters described in Article
3. All other legislative powers shall reside in the Board of Selectmen.
