As used in this article, "commercial vehicle" shall mean a vehicle
used in conjunction with any business or trade, such as any vehicle
originally designed for purposes other than passenger transportation
or for transportation of 10 or more passengers. This term shall include,
but not be limited to, such motor vehicles as buses, delivery trucks,
tractor-trailers or components thereof, refrigerated trucks, step
vans, repair and tow trucks, dump trucks, trailers and other vehicles
and equipment used for commercial purposes. Passenger-sized vans,
suburban vehicles and pickup trucks, whether used for family transportation
or commerce, shall not be included in this definition for purposes
of this chapter.
Commercial vehicles having a nexus to property owners, occupants
or businesses located in the Village of Camillus may be parked temporarily,
even overnight if necessary, at the municipal parking lot adjacent
to and north of the Village tennis courts which front on First Street.
Penalties for offenses shall be the same as set forth in §
105-7 of this chapter, and the authority of a police officer to remove an illegally parked vehicle is set forth in §
105-6 of this chapter.
