The City of Hometown is for the purpose of conducting municipal
elections, including primaries, and for such other purposes as hereafter
may be provided by law, divided into five precincts, which precincts
shall be coextensive with the wards heretofore established and provided
by the Code herein; however, at the consolidated elections the County
Clerk may designate certain county precincts when the electors of
a ward shall vote whether said precinct is within or without the ward
of the residence of the elector.
