No person shall subdivide any land in the Town without prior
notification to the Mayor and Council. Such notification shall be
given by filing with the Clerk-Treasurer a description, including
a plat, of the land to be subdivided and of each of the lots that
comprise the subdivision. Such description shall be filed with the
Clerk-Treasurer no later than the filing of a subdivision application
for such property with the Maryland - National Capital Park and Planning
Commission ("Commission"). All documents filed by the applicant with
the Commission shall also be filed with the Clerk-Treasurer at the
time of the filing with the Commission or prior thereto.
