Pursuant to the provisions of General Business Law § 7,
as amended, it shall be lawful to conduct, witness, participate or
engage in auto racing, stock car racing, midget car racing and other
motorized events which are conducted or engaged in primarily for the
entertainment of spectators, not specifically prohibited by any provision
of law, on the first day of the week after 1:00 in the afternoon,
to witness which the public is invited or an admission fee is charged
either directly or indirectly, in the Town of LaFayette, New York,
subject, however, to compliance with the provisions hereinafter set
forth.
Any person or persons, association or corporation so operating
and conducting such auto racing, stock car racing, midget car racing
or other motorized events shall, prior to the operating or conducting
thereof, apply to and receive from the Town Clerk of the Town of LaFayette
a license permitting the operation or conducting of such event or
events, and shall pay to said Town Clerk a license fee in an amount
set from time to time by the Town Board, which license shall authorize
and permit the operating and conducting of such racing events until
December 31 of the year in which such application shall be made, and
thereafter such license shall be issued for one calendar year.
Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction, be punishable as set forth in Chapter
1, Article
II, General Penalty, of the Town Code.
From and after the effective date of this article, it shall
be unlawful for any person, association, partnership or corporation
to conduct, witness, attend, participate or engage in any auto racing
of a motor-propelled vehicle of any kind for the entertainment of
spectators within the Town of LaFayette, Onondaga County, New York
any place within one-half mile of any state or county highway within
said Town.

Any person, association, partnership or corporation violating the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction, be punishable as set forth in Chapter
1, Article
II, General Penalty, of the Town Code.
