The Township Clerk of the Township of Cranford is authorized to act as the administrative agency to administer the requirements of the Senior Citizens and Disabled Protected Tenancy Act.[1]

An Appeals Board is hereby established, which shall hear and determine appeals from decisions rendered by the Township Clerk under and pursuant to the Senior Citizens and Disabled Protected Tenancy Act.
The Appeals Board shall be composed of three persons chosen by the Township Committee. The terms of said appointees shall be for one calendar year.
The landlord/sponsor of each rental unit to be converted to a condominium or cooperative after the effective date of the Senior Citizens and Disabled Protected Tenancy Act shall pay a fee of $75 per rental unit to the Township of Cranford. Said fee shall be for the purpose of offsetting the cost to the Township of administering this statute at the local level.
As a prerequisite to the filing of an appeal with the Appeals Board, each applicant must pay a fee of $300 to the municipality.
