N.J.S.A. 2C:35-7 provides for enhanced penalties for distributing,
dispensing or possessing with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous
substance or controlled substance analog within 1,000 feet of school
property, provided the governing body has adopted an ordinance approving
a map as the official record of the location and boundaries of the
areas on or within 1,000 feet of school property. The map entitled
"One-Thousand-Foot Radius Map for Drug Free School Zone Within the
Borough of Franklin Lakes," dated July 2008, and last updated on July
2, 2015, as same may be amended from time to time, is hereby designated
as the official record of the location and boundaries of the areas
on or within 1,000 feet of school property. Said map is on file in
the Borough Clerk's office.
