A. 
There shall be no parking, at any time, of any motor vehicle within the arc of any cul-de-sac within the Borough of Bay Head.
B. 
No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in a roadway other than parallel with the edge of the roadway headed in the direction of traffic, on the right-hand side of the roads with two-way traffic, and with the curbside of the vehicle within six inches of the edge of the roadway.
C. 
Parking on private property prohibited.

(1) 
Parking within the Borough of Bay Head on private property without the owner's or lawful occupant's consent shall be a violation of this section.
(2) 
For any violation of this provision of this section, the fine shall not exceed $500 nor be less than $100.
(3) 
In designating the violation of this section as a payable offense, the municipal court is hereby authorized to include a violation of this section on the Local Supplemental Violations Bureau Schedule pursuant to R. 7:12-4(c) of the New Jersey Court Rules.
(4) 
The Borough of Bay Head Police Department is charged with enforcing the provisions of this chapter.
D. 
There shall be no parking at any time, of any motor vehicle within the gravel area of the Post Office Parking Lot, which is on the east side of the parking lot, extending 25 feet from 115 feet north of the Bridge Avenue curbline to 140 feet north of the Bridge Avenue curbline.

A. 
Whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the street or highway, no vehicle shall be parked on the streets or highways or portions thereof designated in Schedule I (§ 222-19), attached to and made a part of this chapter. These parking prohibitions shall remain in effect after the snow has ceased until the streets have been plowed sufficiently and to the extent that parking will not interfere with the normal flow of traffic.
B. 
Posting of signs.
(1) 
Upon the declaration of an emergency, there shall be no parking upon streets or sections of streets where temporary "Emergency No Parking" signs are displayed. The Chief of Police, or, in his absence, the ranking police officer, is authorized to declare an emergency and to direct the posting of said "Emergency No Parking" signs when weather conditions, accidents, fires or public celebrations dictate or require the avoidance of hazards or other conditions which interfere with the free flow of traffic.
(2) 
Notification that the "Emergency No Parking" signs are being or will be posted shall be given to the operator or owner of any vehicle which has been parked prior to the posting of the sign.
C. 
Any unoccupied vehicle parked or standing in violation of this chapter shall be deemed a nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper regulation of traffic, and any peace officer may provide for the removal of such vehicle. The owner shall pay the reasonable costs of the removal and storage which may result from such removal before regaining possession of the vehicle.
D. 
The effectiveness of this chapter is contingent on signs being erected as required by law.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule II (§ 222-20), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit described in Schedule III (§ 222-21), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
Except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a traffic or police officer or traffic sign or signal, no operator of a vehicle shall stand or park the vehicle in any of the following places:
A. 
Within an intersection.
B. 
In a crosswalk.
C. 
In front of a public or private driveway.
D. 
Within 25 feet of the nearest crosswalk or intersecting street, highway or alley.
E. 
On any portion of a sidewalk.
F. 
Within 50 feet of a stop sign or 100 feet of a traffic light.
G. 
Within 10 feet of a fire hydrant.
H. 
Within 50 feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing.
I. 
Within 20 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station.
J. 
Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when stopping, standing or parking would obstruct traffic, when properly signposted.
K. 
On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street.
L. 
Upon portions of streets or roadways which are designated by lined (boxed out) parking spaces, unless said vehicle is placed within the lines designating each such parking space. It shall further be unlawful for more than one vehicle to be parked within a single designated lined (boxed out) parking space.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle between the hours specified on any day upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule III-A (§ 222-21.1).
Any person violating any provision of this article shall be subject to a fine of not more than $50 for each offense, in addition to court costs.
The provisions of this article shall be enforced by the Police Department.
