Fees and charges in this article may not be current based on
the Town’s acceptance of MGL c. 40, § 22F.
The following fees shall be assessed for sealing the following
weighing and measuring devices:
A.
Scales, balances and weights.
(1)
Each scale with a weighing capacity of more than 10,000 pounds: from
$75 to $100.
(2)
Each scale with a weighing capacity of 5,000 pounds to 10,000 pounds:
from $50 to $60.
(3)
Each scale with a weighing capacity of 1,000 pounds to 5,000 pounds:
from $30 to $40.
(4)
Each scale with a weighing capacity of 100 pounds to 1,000 pounds:
from $20 to $25.
(5)
Scales and balances with a weighing capacity of more than 10 pounds
and less than 100 pounds: from $10 to $20.
(6)
Scales and balances with a weighing capacity of 10 pounds or less:
from $10 to $15.
(7)
All weights (avoirdupois, apothecary, metric): from $0.50 to $1.
