1. 
The following behavior shall be prohibited in all parks owned or operated by the Township of West Cocalico:
A. 
No person shall use or occupy park premises between sunset and sunrise without written permission of the Park Board.
B. 
No person shall possess or consume alcoholic beverages or illegal controlled substances on park property.
C. 
No person shall enter upon park property under the influence of alcoholic beverages or illegal controlled substances.
D. 
No person shall deface, destroy, damage, or otherwise vandalize any portion of the park premises, or any structure, equipment, or other personal property located thereon.
E. 
No person shall operate or park any motorized vehicle of any sort (except electric wheelchairs or similar devices for the handicapped) except on the established driveways and/or parking areas.
F. 
No person shall perform any maintenance, which shall include, but not be limited to, repairs, replacement, service, washing, waxing, or cleaning of or upon any motorized vehicle within or upon park property.
G. 
No person shall bring, place, or allow any animal under such person's control to enter into or upon park property unless such animal is leashed. Further, no vicious animals, or animals known to attack or threaten people or other animals, shall be permitted upon park property. No person shall permit a leashed animal under such person's control to remain upon park property after such animal has attacked or threatened a person or other leashed animals lawfully on park property.
H. 
No person who brings a leashed animal onto park property shall fail to remove and deposit into a proper receptacle any droppings from such animal.
I. 
No person shall possess or employ firearms or fireworks on or over park property.
J. 
No person shall deposit any trash, litter, bottles, cans or other refuse onto park property, except in appropriate receptacles provided for such purposes.
K. 
No fires shall be permitted on park property except charcoal fires contained in metal grills. No live embers or coals shall be deposited in any trash receptacles or upon the ground.
L. 
No person shall operate any bicycle, skate board, or other vehicle (except wheelchairs) upon any sport court or baseball field in the park.
M. 
No person shall employ loud and abusive or obscene language while on park property, nor engage in any lewd or obscene behavior while on park property.
N. 
No person shall loiter or congregate with other persons on park property unless engaged in some activity for which provision in the park has been made, such as sports activities, picnicking, hiking, etc.
O. 
No person shall operate any radio, tape or disc player, or other electronic device at such an unreasonably loud volume so as to constitute an annoyance to other park users or neighbors to the park.
P. 
No person shall remove any park equipment or other property from the park premises.
Q. 
No person shall engage in any illegal or criminal activity while on park property.

In addition to any penalties provided hereinafter, duly appointed Township officials, police officers and members of the Park Board shall have the right to order any person who violates any of the aforesaid rules and regulations to leave park property and to bar such person from the use of the Township parks in the future. Any person who fails to obey such order to leave the park and or barring such person from future entry upon park property shall be subject to prosecution under the Pennsylvania Crimes Code for "Defiant Trespass," 18 Pa.C.S.A. § 3503. Any person barred from future use of the park may appeal such decision to the Park Board who may either affirm the order, cancel the order, or set a time limit upon such order, and any such decision shall be final. The Township Supervisors shall also have the right to pursue and obtain an injunction to enforce an order barring an individual from park property.

The Park Board shall immediately after adoption of this Part prepare and post such signs as may be reasonably expected to advise park users of the rules and regulations set forth above and of the penalties for violation of same. Such signs shall be posted at conspicuous places in each park.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any provision of this Part, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before a magisterial district judge in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $1,000 plus costs and, in default of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues or each Section of this Part which shall be found to have been violated shall constitute a separate offense.
