There is hereby created an Examining Board for Plumbers, which
shall consist of four members, to be appointed by the Mayor with the
advice and consent of the City Council, one of whom shall be the Chief
Health Officer of the City, the Plumbing Inspector of the City, one
journeyman plumber and one master plumber. The members of the Examining
Board shall hold office for a period of three years, and shall serve
without pay, and shall be subject to removal from office for cause
by the District Court of Seward County, Nebraska. Should a vacancy
occur, a new member to fill such a vacancy shall be appointed by the
Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. All members
of the Examining Board shall be residents or live within the zoning
jurisdiction of the City. The Plumbing Inspector, journeyman plumber
and master plumber members shall be licensed plumbers. The Plumbing
Inspector shall be Secretary of the Examining Board and shall have
custody of all records of the same. Each member of the Board shall
give bond in a sum set from time to time by the City Council. The
Examining Board is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to prescribe,
amend and enforce rules and regulations pertaining to this Code for
