The Offices of Secretary, Treasurer and Manager of the Borough
of Hummelstown may be held by the same person.

The Borough Treasurer shall, before entering the duties of his
office, give bond, conditioned for the faithful performance of his
duties as required by law. The premium for said bond shall be paid
by the Borough.

Borough Council may from time to time, by resolution, appoint
an Assistant Secretary who shall, in the absence or disability of
the Secretary, preform the duties and exercise the powers of the Secretary.
Borough Council may from time to time, by resolution, appoint an Assistant
Treasurer who shall in the absence or disability of the Treasurer
perform the duties and exercise the powers of the Treasurer. Any such
assistant Treasurer appointed by the Borough Council shall be required
to give bond such as that required from the Treasurer; the Borough
shall pay the premium for said bond.
