The purpose of this district is to provide for certain commercial
development to take place within the district, provided that an I-79
interchange exists to service traffic generated by such uses and to
avoid burdening the local road network.

In the B-1-A Highway Interchange District, only the following
uses are authorized:
1202.1.
Permitted Uses.
A. Principal Uses:
(1)
Business or professional offices, minor.
(2)
Contracting business and contractor's yard.
(6)
Mini-warehouse or self-storage facilities.
(8)
Public utility building or structure.
(10)
Research and development.
(12)
Warehousing and distribution.
B. Accessory Uses:
(1)
Drive-through facilities, subject to §
27-2107.
(3)
Home office or home occupation in a dwelling which is a nonconforming
use.
(4)
Off-street parking and loading, subject to Part
22.
(6)
Retail sales of products produced on site.
(7)
Signs, subject to Part
23.
(8)
Solar energy system (small and large), subject to §
27-1906.51.
(9)
Temporary construction trailer or sales office, subject to §
27-2108.
(11)
Other accessory uses customarily incidental to and on the same
lot with any permitted use authorized in this district.

In the B-1-A Highway Interchange District, all uses shall be subject to the following regulations, except as they may be modified by the express standards and criteria for the specific conditional uses and uses by special exception contained in Part
19.

Minimum Lot Area:
A. All permitted uses: 40,000 square feet.
B. All conditional uses: 20,000 square feet.
1203.2.
Minimum Lot Width: 100 feet.
1203.3.
Minimum Lot Frontage: 50 feet.
1203.4.
Maximum Impervious Surface Coverage: 75%.
1203.5.
Minimum Front Yard:
A. All permitted uses:

Facing any S-C or R District: 100 feet.
(2)
Facing any other district: 50 feet.
