The purpose of this article is to increase the number of members of the New Glarus Town Board from three to five.
This article is adopted as authorized under § 60.21(1), Wis. Stats.
This article is effective as of the April election of 2008.
The New Glarus Town Board shall consist of three members (one chairman and two supervisions) until the April election in 2008. In the odd-numbered years, beginning with the April election in 2009, the Town Chairman and two supervisors shall be elected for two-year terms. In the even-numbered years, beginning with the April election in 2008, two supervisors shall be elected for two-year terms.
