Disorderly conduct, as defined in the Pa. Crimes Code of 1972 [18 CPS.A. § 5503], is hereby prohibited within the Township of North Lebanon. A person is guilty of disorderly conduct if they:
1. 
Engage in fighting or in threatening, violent or tumultuous behavior.
2. 
Make unreasonable noise.
3. 
Use obscene language, or make an obscene gesture.
4. 
Create a hazardous or physically offensive condition by any act which serves no legitimate purpose of the actor.
5. 
Deliberately cause their vehicle's tires to squeal.
6. 
Engage in the following conduct toward a police officer or an employee of North Lebanon Township while working for the Township:
A. 
By violent, tumultuous or obstreperous conduct or carriage, or by loud and unusual noises, by abusive language or other action directed to any police officer or employee of the Township in the discharge of his/her duty or work.
B. 
By any person assaulting, striking or fighting with any police officer or employee of the Township in the discharge of his/her duty or work, or by knowingly permitting such conduct in or about any house or premises owned or possessed by any person or under that person's management or control.
C. 
By any person interfering with, resisting, delaying, obstructing, molesting or threatening to do any of the foregoing to any police officer or employee of the Township in the exercise of his/her official duties.
7. 
Engage in construction work in or adjacent to a residential area prior to 6:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m.

8. 
Set off any display or consumer fireworks, as defined in 3 Pa.C.S.A. § 1101, in any area of North Lebanon Township in violation of Pennsylvania Act 74 of 2022.

9. 
Use, operate or permit the use of any musical instrument, radio, television, phonograph, compact disc player, tape player or any other type of instrument or device capable of playing music or producing amplified sound, including what is commonly known as a "boom box," in such a manner as to be unreasonably loud, raucous, jarring, disturbing, or a nuisance to persons of reasonable sensitivities within the area of audibility, when such sound is plainly audible across a property line or at a distance of 50 feet, whichever is less, when the device creating the sound is in or on a motor vehicle, or hand carried on a public right-of-way or public space. Instruments or devices used in violation of this subsection shall be impounded by the North Lebanon Township Police Department.
Provided: as used in this section, the word "public" means affecting or likely to affect persons in a place to which the public or a substantial group has access. Among the places included are streets, alleys and sidewalks, transport facilities, schools, prisons, apartment houses, places of business or amusement, any neighborhood, or any premises which are open to the public.

Any person who violates or permits a violation of this provision of the Code of Ordinances of North Lebanon Township shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000, and/or to be imprisoned for a period not to exceed 90 days. A separate offense shall arise for each day or portion thereof in which a violation is found to exist.
