The purpose of this chapter is to provide a safe, clean beach
area for use of residents of Casco and their guests and to maintain
a desirable family recreation area at the Town of Casco Crescent Lake
Beach and Pleasant Lake Beach areas.
A.
There shall be no dogs on the beach area.
B.
The beaches are reserved for the use of taxpayers and residents of
Casco and their guests only.
C.
There shall be no consumption of alcoholic beverages on Town beaches.
D.
There shall be no fires on the Town beach without the proper fire
permits and the approval of the Casco Selectboard.
E.
There shall be no littering.
F.
There shall be no launching or landing of boats from beach areas.
G.
There shall be no foul language, or rowdiness, or any other conduct
unbefitting a public place.
Violators shall be subject to a fine of $25 recoverable by District
Court.
This chapter becomes effective when adopted by vote at Town
of Casco Annual Town Meeting.
Should any section or provision of this chapter be declared
by any court to be invalid, such decision shall not invalidate any
other section or provision of this chapter.
