1. 
Where only one dwelling is located on a private road or lane, the owner of the dwelling shall have the right to name the private road or lane.
2. 
Where there are two or more dwellings on a private road or lane, those individuals shall agree among themselves as to the name to be assigned to the private road or lane. If the owners of the dwellings on the aforesaid private road or lane cannot agree on the name to be assigned, then the Board of Supervisors of Hunlock Township shall arbitrarily assign a name to the private road or lane.
3. 
Any agreement by the owners of two or more dwellings along a private lane or road to assign a particular name to the private road shall be writing signed by the owners of the dwellings thereon.
4. 
The owners of the dwellings along the private road or lane shall immediately thereafter purchase and erect street signs approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and shall erect the same at each end of the private lane or road.
5. 
The owners of each dwelling along the private road or lane shall be responsible for maintaining the street signs thereon.
6. 
The property owners along the private road or lane shall give permission to Luzerne County Emergency Dispatch (911) personnel to enter upon, along and across in any motorized vehicle, and/or to walk upon the aforesaid private road or lane, for the purpose of numbering each dwelling unit thereon.
7. 
The Hunlock Township Board of Supervisors shall not be required to purchase or maintain any street signs for the private roads or lanes.
