Pursuant to 53 P.S. § 65720, no person, party or entity can conduct a display involving fireworks or exploding devices without first obtaining a permit from the Hunlock Township Board of Supervisors. The applicant for such a permit must set forth the nature of the fireworks or exploding devices to be displayed, the dates and times of display and the place or places where the display will occur. The applicant must also set forth any training or certifications which he or they have concerning the operation of any such firework displays and/or displays or exploding devices and any applicable insurance coverage.

The applicant shall also present proof of any license, certification or permit which he has obtained from any other governmental unit including, but not limited to, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The Board of Supervisors, however, will reserve the right to deny any permit for authority to conduct a display involving fireworks or exploding devices.
