The presence of political signs on Borough property may create a
false impression that the Borough is not neutral with respect to a
given political candidate, issue or matter.
Where Borough premises are used as polling places, political signs
shall be permitted pursuant to the Pennsylvania Election Code, 25
P.S. § 2600 et seq., and regulations promulgated by the
Allegheny County Department of Elections.
[Ord. 752, 1/17/2012]
For purposes of this Part, political signs are those signs announcing,
or advocating for or against, any candidate for public office, political
parties, political causes or any issue contained on an upcoming election
ballot.
