When used in this Part, the following words and phrases shall
have the meaning hereby ascribed thereto, unless the context clearly
indicates otherwise:
FUEL
Anthracite, semi-anthracite, bituminous, semi-bituminous
of lignite coal, briquettes, coke, gas-house coke, petroleum coke,
carbon, charcoal or any other natural, manufactured or patented fuel
not sold by liquid or metered measure, and/or liquid fuel such as
gasoline, fuel oil, kerosene, or other liquid fuel.
PERSON
Any natural person, partnership, association, firm or corporation,
or any agent, representative or employee hereof.
In this Part, the singular shall include the plural, the plural
shall include the singular, and the masculine shall include the feminine
and neuter.

It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or deliver any fuel
within the Borough of Renovo unless such person shall have first obtained
a license therefore from the Borough Secretary, officer in charge
of the Renovo Borough Police Department, or such other individual
who shall be appointed from time to time by the Borough Council to
issue such license. The fee for a license hereunder shall be in an
amount as established, from time to time, by resolution of Borough
Council.

Every vehicle or tractor delivering or selling fuel to persons
within the Borough of Renovo shall display, in a conspicuous place
thereon, the Borough fuel license number of the owner or employer
in plain letters and figures at least three inches in height.

Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this Part
shall, upon conviction thereof in an action brought before a magisterial
district judge in the manner provided for the enforcement of summary
offenses under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, shall
be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $100, nor not more than
$1,000 plus costs together with reasonable attorney fees and, in default
of payment of said fine and costs, to a term of imprisonment not to
exceed 90 days. Each day that a violation of this Part continues or
each section of this Part which shall be found to have been violated
shall constitute a separate offense.
