There shall be a Recreation Board in the Township of Wrightstown,
Bucks County, Pennsylvania, consisting of five persons, appointed
by the Board of Supervisors to serve for terms of five years, or until
their successors are appointed, except that the members of such Board
first appointed shall be appointed for such terms that the term of
not more than two members shall expire annually thereafter. Vacancies
on such Board occurring otherwise than by expiration of term shall
be filled for the unexpired term in the same manner as original appointments.

Members of said Board shall serve without compensation.

The members of the Recreation Board shall elect their own officers
to serve for a period of one year.

The Recreation Board shall have power to adopt rules and regulations
for the conduct of all business within its jurisdiction.

The Recreation Board shall have the authority to equip, supervise
and maintain parks, recreation areas and facilities and to conduct
recreation programs and shall possess all the powers and be subject
to all the responsibilities of the Board of Supervisors contained
in Article XIX, § 1902, of the Second Class Township Code,
as amended.

It shall be the duty of the Recreation Board to submit an annual
report to the Township Supervisors, including an analysis of the community
recreation areas and the adequacy of the program and its effectiveness
in view of the public expenditure involved and the public needs to
be met.
