The Board of Supervisors of this Township signifies the intention
and desire of this Township to become a member of Bushkill-Lower Lehigh
Joint Sewer Authority (the "Authority"), an existing municipality
authority heretofore organized by the Boroughs of Stockertown and
Tatamy and the Townships of Bushkin, Palmer and Plainfield, all situate
in Northampton County, Pennsylvania (the "Municipalities"), under
provisions of the Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, known as the "Municipality
Authorities Act of 1945," as amended and supplemented (the "Act").

The Chairman or Vice Chairman and Secretary or Assistant Secretary
of the Board of Supervisors of this Township are [here followed the
names and addresses of the first members of the Board of said Authority].

Proper officers of this Township are authorized and directed
to make a request to the Board of the Authority for its consent to
and approval of the joining of the Authority by this Township, as
required by the Act, and to secure the joinder of the Authority in
the foregoing application of this Township.

Proper officers of this Township are authorized and directed
to make a request to the municipal authorities of the municipalities
for their consent to and approval of the joining of the Authority
by this Township, as required by the Act, and to secure the joinder
of the municipalities in the foregoing application of this Township.

Proper officers of this Township are directed to cause a notice
of the substance of this Subpart, including the substance of the foregoing
application and of the proposed filing of the foregoing application,
to be published, as required by the Act.

Proper officers of this Township are directed to file the foregoing
application, including the necessary joinders, together with the necessary
proofs of publication, with the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
and to do all other things necessary or appropriate to effect the
joinder of this Township as a member municipality in the Authority,
including payment of any fees necessary in connection therewith.

This Township agrees and determines that the Board of the Authority,
upon admission of this Township as a member thereof, shall be 12 in
number, with two members being appointed by each of the member municipalities
in the Authority.
