Words and phrases when used in this Part shall be the meanings ascribed to them under the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code, 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 101 et seq., as now in force, or as hereinafter amended, enacted or reenacted, except in those instances where the context clearly indicates a different meaning. The singular shall include the plural, and the masculine shall include the feminine.
2. 
The term "nonmotorized vehicle" is defined as every device in, upon or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a highway, of a non-self-propelled nature, and shall include, but not be limited to, trailers, nonmotorized recreational vehicles, nonmotorized commercial vehicles, nonmotorized off-road construction equipment, or nonmotorized agricultural equipment.

No person shall park, store, or leave standing any nonmotorized vehicle, tractor, trailer, motorized or nonmotorized recreational vehicle, motorized or nonmotorized commercial vehicle, boat trailer, off-road construction equipment, agricultural equipment, dumpsters, or storage units upon the paved or improved portion of any highway, Township road, street or alley within the Township of Upper Nazareth.

Any police officer may remove or cause to be removed to the place of business of the operator of a wrecker or to a nearby garage or other place of safety any motorized or nonmotorized vehicle violating the provisions of § 15-402 herein, if, in the opinion of the police officer, removal is necessary for the immediate protection of the health, safety, and welfare of the public.

Parking of motor vehicles along the curb or edge of a roadway within 10 feet of a mailbox is prohibited.

No person shall park a vehicle, or allow it to remain parked, for longer than the time indicated, in any of the following locations, at any time on the days and between the hours indicated:

There shall be erected official "no parking" signs identifying the location of the designated no-parking zones as set forth in §§ 15-405 and 15-406 set forth above. Said signs shall conform and be erected in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation regulations.

1. 
No vehicle shall be stored upon any road, street or alley within the Township of Upper Nazareth. As used herein, "stored" shall mean the parking of a motor vehicle in any one place upon a road, street or alley continuously for over 24 hours.
2. 
No person shall park a motor vehicle upon any road, street or alley in Upper Nazareth Township for any of the following purposes:
A. 
Displaying the same for sale;
B. 
Greasing or repairing.
3. 
No person shall park any motor vehicle on any road, street or alley or on private property where same is in public view, which:
A. 
Does not display a current license plate; or
B. 
Does not display a current inspection sticker; or
C. 
Is not in operating condition; or
D. 
Is a junk vehicle.

Any person violating any provisions of this Part shall, upon summary conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $50 and costs of prosecution, for each twenty-four-hour period the provisions of this Part are violated.
