A. 
It shall be unlawful for any owner, lessee or occupant or any representative or employee of such owner, lessee or occupant having control of any occupied or unoccupied lot or land or any part thereof in the Township where there are permanent hard surface sidewalks at a grade established by the Township to permit or maintain on any such lot along the sidewalk, street or highway adjacent to the same between the property line and the curb or for 10 feet outside the property line if there be no curb, any growth of woods, grass or other impediments to a greater height than 12 inches.
B. 
It shall be the duty of any owner, lessee or occupant of any abutting lot or land where there is permanent hard surface sidewalks constructed to keep the sidewalks in a safe passable condition, free from water, grass and other impediments.

The owner, tenant or occupant of any leased or occupied land located at the intersection of two or more roads, streets or highways shall not permit any growth, weeds, grass, shrubs or any other impediments, including trees, over 30 inches in height to grow or stand within 20 feet from the curbline where one has been established and where there is no curbline, then 20 feet from the nearest side line of any hard surfaced road, street or highway so that a clear view may be had from one street to the other.
In all cases of neglect to remove weeds, grass, shrubs and other impediments at the corner of any two or more intersecting streets when notified to do so by the Township Council or its designated Chief of Police, it shall be lawful for the Township to cause the removal of the snow and ice, grass, weeds or other impediments and the cost for so doing, when ascertained by the Township Council, shall be charged to the owner of the land bordering on or abutting the sidewalk or road. The amount so ascertained shall become a lien on the property and shall be added to and become a part of the taxes next to be assessed and levied upon the land and shall bear interest at the same rate as taxes and shall be collected and enforced by the same officer and in the same manner as taxes.

Notice of violations for any property declared vacant and abandoned pursuant to Chapter 400 shall be given to a foreclosing creditor pursuant to the procedures set forth in § 400-6 of this Code as required by P.L. 2014, Ch. 35.[1]
