Any Dog Control Officer appointed by the Malta Town Board pursuant to New York State Agricultural and Markets Law § 113, and any Animal Control Officer appointed pursuant to New York State's Agricultural and Markets Law § 114 and designated pursuant to § 52-5 of this chapter, must be an elector of the Town of Malta or an elector of a Town contiguous with the Town of Malta.
