Parking is hereby prohibited on all bridges located in the Borough, at any and all times.

Parking of any vehicle over two axles is prohibited on any Borough street.

No tractor, recreational vehicle, camper, boat and/or trailer of any kind shall stand or be permitted to stand or be parked upon any highway in one place for a period of 48 hours or longer.

The following are hereby established as special purpose parking zones, and it shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle or tractor, or to allow the same to remain parked, in any such zone, except as specifically provided for such zone:
1. 
Police car: in front of Borough Building, Fifth Street, one space, west side.
2. 
Municipal parking:
A. 
In front of Borough Building, Fifth Street, one space, west side.
B. 
Across from Borough Building, Fifth Street, one space, east side.
C. 
Municipal parking lot, four spaces, east side of Fifth Street and Saint Clair Avenue.
3. 
Church parking: 90 feet, east side of Seventh Street, south.

1. 
Any individual requesting the establishment of a reserved on-street parking place pursuant to the terms of 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 3354(d) shall make application to the Borough of Renovo on the official application form provided by the Borough.
2. 
Within 90 days of the date of submission of an application for reserved parking place pursuant to the terms of this section, the Police Committee of the Borough. Council or the Renovo Borough Police Department shall investigate the application and shall make recommendation to the Borough Council of the Borough of Renovo as to whether the application meets the standards expressed in this section. Borough Council shall, within 30 days of the date of such recommendation, vote to approve or to reject such application. In the event that the application is approved, approval shall be by means of a resolution.
3. 
The criteria for the creation of a handicapped parking space shall be as follows:
A. 
The applicant must possess a valid disability person license plate or disability parking placard under the regulations issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
B. 
No more than one handicapped parking space shall be provided to any one individual within the corporate limits of the Borough of Renovo.
C. 
No more than one handicapped parking space shall be provided per dwelling unit within the corporate limits of the Borough of Renovo.
D. 
No handicapped parking space shall be provided for a location if there exists a reasonably accessible and practicable off-street parking space to serve such location, or if providing such a handicapped parking space would create an unsafe condition.
E. 
The applicant must have a physical impairment or other condition which restricts ambulation to a degree which makes it unreasonably hazardous or unreasonably difficult for the applicant and a vehicle parked at any location other than that which is closest to the residence of the applicant.
F. 
The applicant must establish that the physical impairment or other condition which restricts ambulation will continue for a period of not fewer than six consecutive months.
G. 
The applicant must reside in a residential district.
H. 
Any reserved parking space established pursuant to this chapter may be revoked in the event that changed circumstances cause any one of the criteria to no longer be satisfied.
4. 
The applicant shall pay a nonrefundable application fee of $10 at time of application. Prior to the erection or placement of such sign or other markings as shall be necessary to establish the reserved parking zone, the applicant shall pay an additional sum sufficient to cover the cost of materials for the sign and post, and other materials necessary to erect such reserved parking zone.

5. 
This chapter shall not be construed to limit the discretion of the Borough Council of the Borough of Renovo to establish handicapped parking areas at such other locations, and for such reasons as the Borough council deems appropriate.
6. 
The parking permit and signs erected shall limit the parking space/area to the resident who has applied and qualified for the parking permit which has been issued by the Borough.
7. 
Any violation of a handicapped parking space by an individual who does not possess a handicapped license plate and/or placard issued by the Department of Transportation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall be enforced with the same penalties as provided for by the Vehicle Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall be enforced with the same penalties as provided for by the Vehicle Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for non-handicapped motor vehicle parking in a parking area designated for handicapped parking only. Any violation of the section by an individual who possess a handicapped license plate and/or placard issued by the Department of Transportation of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $50 no more than $300 and in default of payment of said fine, to imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days.

No person shall park a vehicle, or allow the same to remain parked for longer than the time herein indicated, in any of the following locations, at any time on the days and between the hours herein indicated:

Any person who shall violate § 15-301, 15-302, 15-303, 15-304, 15-305 or 15-307 herein shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine and not less than $25 and costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
