Article III: Flow Testing Requirements

Section 425.020 Flow Testing Requirements.

All newly installed fire hydrants as part any new development shall be flow tested by a registered professional engineer. This shall be done at the developer's expense.

City staff shall be present for all flow testing.

All fire flow results, signed by a registered professional engineer, shall be submitted to the City for review and approval before hydrant painting.

All fire flows shall meet City minimum requirements and hydrants shall be painted to correspond with specification Section 425.015, Hydrant Identification, at developer's expense.
