The Board of Aldermen may recommend
to the Planning and Zoning Commission amendments to the text of these
regulations, or the Planning and Zoning Commission may on its own
motion initiate amendments. Amendments may also be initiated upon
citizen request.

Proposed amendments to the text shall
be advertised in a paper of general circulation at least fifteen (15)
days in advance of the public hearing to be conducted by the Planning
and Zoning Commission. After the public hearing, the Planning and
Zoning Commission shall make a report and recommendation to the Board
of Aldermen pertaining to the proposed amendment to the text. The
Board of Aldermen action on the report and recommendation shall be
final.
