It shall be unlawful for any person, except in necessary defense
of person or property, to fire or discharge any gun or other firearm
anywhere in the Borough of Montgomery.
Any person who violates any provision of this article shall,
for every such violation, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine
of not less than $25 nor more than $600 and costs of prosecution and,
in default of payment of fine and costs, to undergo imprisonment for
not more than 30 days.

It shall be unlawful for any person, partnership, unincorporated
association or corporation to establish any type of indoor or outdoor
rifle range, small arms range, trap shoot, skeet shoot, or other similar
type of facility, either of a private nature or open and available
for public use, within the corporate limits of the Borough of Montgomery.
Any person, partnership, unincorporated association or corporation
found guilty of violating any provision of this article shall, upon
conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $25 nor more
than $600 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of fine
and costs, to undergo imprisonment for not more than 30 days. Provided:
each day's continuance of a violation of this article, after
conviction of any provision of this article, shall constitute a separate
violation.
