1. Alterations and Rehabilitation. Except as otherwise provided hereinafter,
there shall be no fee for any project constructed at a cost under
$1,000. Additionally, alterations do not include cosmetic improvements
such as wall papering, paneling and redecorating within the home.
Alterations would, however, include remodeling involving changes to

adding stoops, etc. Fences, sidewalks and curbing are not included
within the Borough's Existing Structures Code. The permit fee for
construction involving the alterations and/or rehabilitation of existing

or computed by the Code Enforcement Officer, whichever is greater.
The computed cost will be determined using $7.50 per square foot.
4. Residential Roofing. In the event of replacement or repair of shingles,
either asphalt, fiberglass, slate, wooden or the like, or any other
approved roof covering, including, but not limited to, metal roofing,
where 100 square feet or more of roof covering is repaired, replaced
or established, the fee shall be $35. In addition to the building
permit, an affidavit, signed by the applicant, stating the removal
of old roofing material must be disposed of in an approved manner,
must also be kept on file with the building permit application.
5. Mobile Home Placement: $100 flat fee.
6. Residential Swimming Pools: $25 plus $10 per $1,000 construction
cost.

[Ord. 1992-2A, 4/6/1992, § 4]
All services, investigations, prosecution preparation or any
other work performed in the administration of the building codes enforcement
program which are not specifically mentioned hereinabove or in those
situations where the schedule of fees is not reasonably sufficient
to cover the cost of administering the code enforcement activities
shall be charged at the hourly rate then in effect for services charged
by the Code Enforcement Officer to the Borough. For complaint investigations
which result in a finding of no violation, no fee shall be charged
to the alleged violator.
