There is hereby established a local Council on Aging, consisting
of 11 voting members. Council members shall be appointed by the Select
Board for a term of three years.
The Council shall be responsible to the Select Board, and its
members shall serve without compensation. It shall be the duty of
the Council to advise the Director of Elder Services with regard to
programs and services designed to meet the needs of the elderly in
coordination with appropriate local, state and federal agencies.
