All activities within the protected wellhead area must meet the listed requirements in Article VII.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Article IV, large volume subsurface sewage disposal systems may be used if necessary to solve sewage disposal problems associated with existing development.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Article IV, public water supply projects which require the use of chemicals for disinfection or treatment will be allowed in all wellhead protection areas subject to their approval, construction and operation in accordance with DEP regulations.
