The salary of the Borough Tax Collector shall be $14,000 a year for the collection of Borough's property tax, solid waste taxes, and sanitary sewer taxes. Such salary shall be paid in equal monthly installments.
A. 
The Tax Collector shall be reimbursed for actual expenses incurred for the collection of taxes such as printing, mailing, and distribution of bills, not to exceed $5,000 per year, upon written invoice of the Borough of Narberth. The amount of reimbursement shall not exceed the amount of expenses incurred.
B. 
The Tax Collector shall be duly bonded by the Borough of Narberth at the expense of the Borough.
C. 
The Tax Collector is afforded the use of Borough offices, phone, computer, network, and utilities at the Tax Collector's discretion, and at no charge to the Tax Collector, during normal office hours of Borough Administration between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

A. 
The Tax Collector is authorized to assess, collect and retain a fee not to exceed $24 for a four-year tax certification in order to cover costs and expenses of the preparation of the certification.
B. 
The Tax Collector is authorized to assess, collect and retain a fee not to exceed $5 for production of a duplicate tax bills in order to cover costs and expenses of the preparation of the bill.
C. 
Each time the Tax Collector is required to process a returned check, the Tax Collector may assess, collect and retain, to cover costs and expenses, a fee not to exceed $20 for each such returned check.
D. 
Tax Collector is authorized to assess, collect and retain a fee not to exceed $5 for production of a duplicate receipt evidencing payment of taxes to any person, in order to cover costs and expenses of the preparation of the receipt.
E. 
After the effective date of this provision, the amount of the charges set forth above may be increased by resolution of Borough Council.
