A.
The collecting official is the Town Treasurer or other tax collecting
officer or a person deputized by the Treasurer or other tax collecting
officer.
B.
Lakeland Animal Welfare Society, Inc., and its authorized employees
are hereby designated as collecting officials under § 174.065,
Wis. Stats., with full authority to issue dog licenses and collar
tags pursuant to § 174.07, Wis. Stats. Lakeland Animal Welfare
Society, Inc., shall remit all license fees and license blanks to
the Town Treasurer as directed.
The license will be issued upon evidence that the dog is currently
immunized against rabies.
Unlicensed dogs (dogs without collars are assumed to be unlicensed, except as provided in § 6-32B) are to be impounded.
