This article is entitled the "Town of Whitewater Public Safety
Ordinance."
The Town Board of the Town of Whitewater has the specific statutory
authority, powers and duties, pursuant to the specific statutory sections
noted in this article and/or by its adoption of village powers under
§ 60.10, Wis. Stats., to regulate, control, prevent and
enforce against in the Town of Whitewater certain uses, activities,
businesses and operations by persons that may affect public safety
and public order in the Town of Whitewater.
The Town Board of the Town of Whitewater has, by adoption of
this article, confirmed the specific statutory authority, powers and
duties noted in the specific sections of this article and has established
by these sections and this article the regulations, controls and enforcement
against certain uses, activities, businesses and operations by persons
that may affect the public safety and public order in the Town of
Whitewater.

No person shall commit the following offenses in the Town of
Whitewater (herein noted as "Town of Whitewater violations") that
are hereby adopted by reference in this chapter. The prosecution of
such offenses under this article shall be as provided in § 60.23,
Wis. Stats., and the below-noted sections, and the forfeiture for
violation of these sections shall be at the level established by the
Wisconsin Statutes.

(1) Section 947.01, Wis. Stats., disorderly conduct.
